Scrapping with Eb...

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of scrapping with Ebony at her home in Warnambool! After she taught me a few new techniques, I managed to get 3 layouts completed!
The first one was using the first sketch over at Stuck...

The next two are 'just because' layouts!

Show Us Your Stuff

The first challenge for 2013 is up over at SUYS! Marelle has found this lovely image for you to take inspiration from this month!
And here is my take on the challenge...
Not only have I taken inspiration from the colour palette but have also used circles.
For more inspiration go here and see what the other ladies have created!

Also, sponsoring this month is Mould's by Mel whose products I didn't get to use on this LO as they arrived too late. But you should check out her site and the other sample's to see what you can create with her products- she has some lovely designs!

Thanks for stopping by today and happy scrapping,
Sophie xx

My Wish List

Hi everyone!
If you've happened to see the challenge over at Sophie's Corner this month you've probably already had a glimpse of my X-mas wish list this year, as the challenge is to scrap your Christmas wish list!

Anyway, this seems like the perfect opportunity to do a post showing you what's on my Christmas/Birthday wish list this year!
Furthermore, as it is 12/12/12 I decided to post 12 items that I would love to receive for Christmas or my Birthday this year!

 1. A cute, colourful camera bag from Jo Totes

2. A laptop...an essential for next year...
 3. Delta's new album to add to my collection of her CD's...

 4. Pretty Little Liars- because I'm addicted.
 5. And Smash- this show is awesome, if you happened to catch it on late night TV.

 6. This dress from Roxy- I love the colours...
7. A PMD would be the greatest gift ever...

8. These pair of Vans...
9. This cute fridge for my dorm...

10. A Spotlight gift card...

11. This cute pencil case from Typo...

12...and This cute owl necklace from Diva...

So what's on your Christmas wish list this year?
Make sure your kids enter their LO's in the challenge this month! I'm sure they'll be excited to scrap their wish list before sending it off to Santa- if they haven't already!

Thanks for stopping by,
I hope you are enjoying the holiday season!

I'm back! With some challenges!

Hi guys! Sorry for the long absence, but finally I have finished my exams and, well,  school forever! Looking forward to having a break filled with lots of free time to be creative!

I'm just sharing with you my LO's for SUYS and the123 Challenge for this month! I have only just photographed these so they are hot off the press!
At Show Us Your Stuff the challenge was to use the colour yellow and washi tape! And of course a handmade embellishment! Here's my sample- I love the bright strips of washi tape!

Over at 123 Challenge the criteria is to use pastel colours, the word 'sweet' and wire.
I have made the love heart embellishments out of wire and tissue paper!

Make sure you head over to both sites to have a go at these challenges...
Thanks for stopping by,

Challenges...

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by! I'm just sharing with you the LO's I completed using the two sketches over at Stuck!
The first two are inspired by the September 15 sketch, which I was so in love with I decided to create two! I found the sketch to be so versatile!

I still haven't decided which one to enter yet!
The next is using the first sketch from the month! I loved Celeste's take on the sketch so I decided to mimic the same concept! I thought it was a great way to incorporate all those happy snaps we take at Christmas!

That's all for now!
Thanks again for stopping by,
Sophie xx

It's Party Time at Stuck...

And I'm honoured to be one of the two guest tutor's featured at the site this month! Stuck Sketches is always at the top of my challenges-to-complete-this-month list (though this is very short list as exams loom closer).
I was so thrilled to win a prize at their site the other month, so you can imagine my excited when ask to create for them! There is four sketches this month and I'm sharing with you today the first bonus sketch and the August 15th Sketch!
So here's the bonus sketch...
And here's my take...
The photo is of our adorable little puppy, Bowser! Who is getting way to big way to fast! Come on, how can you not fall in love with that tilt?
And here is the 15th Sketch...
My sample...
As you can tell, I've rotated the sketch and substituted two photos for some patterned paper! I really like how this one turned out once I got my mojo going!

So make sure you head over to Stuck to help Sara and the team celebrate their 5th birthday! What an awesome achievement! Have ago at their challenges and don't forget to join the blog hop. There are 13 prizes up for grabs! You can start here to get yourself in the draw!

Thanks to Sara and the CT girls at Stuck for having me on board for this special occasion!
And thankYOU for stopping by,
Sophie xx
